While some have started throwing heavy shades at Davido, famous social media critic Daniel Regha has reacted at the development by drumming his support for the superstar Afrobeats singer.
Recall that in a previous post, Hitgist reported that that the 2025 Grammy Award, the 67th edition took place on Sunday, January 2nd 2025 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, United States of America (USA), despite the recent wildfires that have devastated parts of the city.
However, popular Nigerian singer Tems becomes the winner for the Best African Music Performance. Singer Tems “Love Me Jeje” beats tough contenders including Chris Brown’s Sensational featuring Davido & Lojay, Yemi Alade’s Tomorrow, Burna Boy’s Higher as well as Asake’s MMS featuring Wizkid.
While the likes of music executive Samklef among others have started mocking Davido claiming that the singer do not have the real talent to win the prestigious Grammy Award, social media critic, Daniel Regha who is well known for criticizing Davido makes a U-Turn this time around.
According to Daniel Regha the Grammy Award organized by the Recording Academy is not what determines the greatness of an artiste. He added that people who troll artiste for not winning Grammy know nothing about the music industry.
Daniel Regha tweeted; “Grammys aren’t what defines an artiste, it never has, and never will. The people who troll artistes for not winning Grammy(s) know nothing about the music industry.”
