Mixed reactions have started pouring in online massively as Forbes reportedly releases top 5 (five) richest artistes in Nigeria as of January 2025.
Recall that in the year 2024, Intel Region published a report on the list of top 10 (ten) richest Nigerian musicians in 2024, their net worth and list of their cars.
However, the list of top 5 Nigerian artistes for the year 2025 so far has been released by Forbes and by extension it did not go down well with some music lovers.
According to the list reportedly shared by Forbes, Wizkid born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun who recently acquired his second Ferrari worth N1.4billion tops the list of 5 richest artistes in Nigeria with a net worth of $50M.
The second person on the list according to Forbes is Grammy Award winner Burna Boy born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu with a net worth of $40m.
The 3rd person on the list is music mogul Don Jazzy born Michael Collins Ajereh. The owner of Mavin Records Label has a net worth of $30M.
The fourth person on the list is “Unavailable” hitmaker Davido born David Adeleke. The DMW boss according to Forbes reportedly has a net worth of $15M.
The fifth person on the list is YBNL boss Olamide born Olamide Adedeji with a net worth of $10m.

However, the above Forbest net worth did not go down well with fans of popular Nigerian singer Davido as they claimed that it was curated by Wizkid FC; fans of Wizkid. See below;
