A video making the rounds online has captured the moment former Marlian signee and dancer Idowu Emmanuel Smart aka Lil Smart confessed to the Nigerian police following his arrest over allegations raised against his ex-boss Naira Marley.
Recall that Lil Smart raised alarms online after he accused Naira Marley of abducting him and stealing $300 from him via his Instagram page.
Following the accusation, the Nigerian police force revealed on February 6 that Lil Smart is in their custody over the charges of alleged defamation and cyberbullying against Naira Marley.
However, in the trending video, Lil Smart took back the messy claims against Naira Marley while being questioned by the police. When asked if Naira Marley ever abducted or assaulted him, he replied in the negative.
Lil Smart also added that Naira Marley wasn’t present when $300 was stolen from him and he made a mistake mentioning the Marlian Music boss’ name.
In his words, “Naira Marley never abducted me and he didn’t steal my $300. He was my ex-boss, his boys were at the scene so that was why I thought it might have come from him.”
