A controversial video allegedly showing former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) star Deeone admitting to being gay has surfaced online, sparking mixed reactions among netizens.
This video surfaced online amid the ongoing beef between Deeone and social media activist Martins Otse Vincent, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM).
Recall that comedian Deeone, whose real name is Aderombi Adedayo Martin, spoke about VDM on OAP Nedu’s Honest Bunch podcast, where he alleged that the critic is romantically involved with men.
His allegations against VDM sparked outrage online as Verydarkman focused his banter on Nedu, accusing the media personality of luring girls into his bed in exchange for featuring them on his podcast. This led to Nedu’s exit from the Honest Bunch podcast.
In the video circulating online, Deeone, acting in a feminine manner, could be heard admitting to being gay and claiming that there are many others like him in Nigeria.
In his words, “What’s going to happen if I’m gay? If anyone tried to arrest me, there are many like me, we will all go down. I mean it is allowed in many countries.”
