Controversial Nigerian singer Azeez Fashola better known as Naira Marley has taken to social media to react as court finally clears him, Sammy Larry and Prime Boy of involvement in Mohbad’s death.
A Lagos Magistrate Court in Yaba has officially cleared Nigerian singer Naira Marley, music promoter Sammy Larry, and Prime Boy of any involvement in Mohbad’s death.
Mohbad passed away on September 24, 2023, leaving a significant void in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
Despite multiple court trials and investigations, the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death remain unclear.
Naira Marley, Mohbad’s former record label boss, along with Sammy Larry and Prime Boy, had faced allegations regarding Mohbad’s death.
However, on February 25, 2025, the Lagos Magistrate Court dismissed all allegations against them.
Meanwhile, the DPP confirmed that legal action would be taken against Feyisayo Ogedengbe, the auxiliary nurse who treated Mohbad, and Ayobami Sodiq, Mohbad’s friend.
Reacting via the insta-stories of his official Instagram page of 6.5Million followers today, February 25th 2025, Naira Marley gives thanks to God by quoting a Quaran verse.
He quoted Surah Al-Anfal that reads; “And’ remeber O prophet, when the disbelievers conspired to capture, kill. or exile you. they planned, but Allah also planned. And Allah is the best of planners.”
