Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, has finally responded to socialite Sophia Egbueje after she called him out over an alleged Lamborghini saga.
The drama, which recently made rounds on social media, sparked controversy as Sophia publicly accused that Burna Boy failed to fulfill a promise to buy her a Lamborghini after an intimate encounter.
In a leaked audio recording, Egbueje disclosed that influencer Ama Reginald, the girlfriend of Burna Boy’s associate King Manny, urged her to pursue a relationship with the singer, assuring her of his generosity.
According to Egbueje, Burna Boy made multiple promises, including buying her a Lamborghini, which influenced her decision to engage with him. However, after their encounter, she claimed the singer became unresponsive and failed to fulfill his promises.
The leaked audio also exposed tensions between Egbueje and Reginald, with Egbueje accusing Reginald of betrayal for mingling with Burna Boy and his rumored new girlfriend, Chloe Bailey, shortly after encouraging her to go after him.
These revelations have stirred widespread reactions online, with various public figures and media personalities weighing in on the controversy.
In his usual unapologetic style, Burna Boy took to his social media pages to address the issue. Although, Burna Boy did not dismiss Sophia’s claims, the singer threw subtly throwing shades at the influencer.
In the video, the ‘Bundle by Bundle’ crooner was seen composing mockery song for Sophia. He emphasized that Sophia was making a fuss just because he didn’t buy her a Lamborghini.
