Please forgive me, I’m a kid – 19-year-old Peller tenders public apology to Runtown after calling him an upcoming artiste (Video)

Popular Nigerian TikToker Peller has once again taken to social media to tender public apology to superstar Afrobeats singer Runtown after referring to him as an upcoming artiste during a live session.

During a recent livestream, Peller’s co-streamer suggested featuring Runtown, but he dismissed the idea, saying he preferred a more successful artist.

In his words; “Wetin be Runtown? That one never blow. We no know am. Give me another person. Who is that? Runtown? Don’t bring upcoming artists on my live video. Na artistes wey don blow well well I want.”

 

This development did not go down well with many social media users as they went hard on Peller over the derogatory statement he made towards Runtown, the “Mad Over You” hitmaker known as one of the Afrobeats’ greatest sound innovators.

Reacting, 19-year-old Peller makes a U-Turn as he tells people criticizing him to take it easy on him. He added that he is just a kid stressing that 11 or 12yrs ago when Runtown was in his speak, he was not even using a phone. He however urge fans of Runtown to forgive him. He also noted that Runtown manager has been reaching out to him to use his sound but do not know who Runtown was.
