Mr Odunsi, the father of popular Nigerian singer has taking to social media to deny a claim making the rounds online that he abandoned the singer during childhood.
Recall that a video took over the social media space in the early hours of today, March 14th 2025 where Asake father publicly pleaded for assistance, stating that he is seriously ill and suffering from stroke.
The report also added that Mr. Odunsi allegedly abandoned Asake during his childhood.
Note that singer Asake has been spotted together with his mom most especially during his performance at the 20k capacity 02 Arena in the year 2024, the singer has never been seen with his father before.
Debunking the news of abandoning his child Asake during childhood, Mr Odunsi in a new video said that he singlehandedly raised his son Asake till he fully grows up.
He noted that Asake stops picking his calls since the year 2022. Watch the video below;
