Recently, Nigerian Fuji star Saheed Osupa has officially withdrawn his legal case against singer Portable.

Portable had earlier been remanded in a correctional facility after failing to meet bail conditions, which included a payment of N1 million and two sureties—one of whom had to be the Chairman of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN). His case was initially adjourned to April 30, 2025.

In a statement, Saheed Osupa’s team clarified that the lawsuit stemmed from repeated instances of defamation, public misconduct, and what they described as a serious violation of intellectual property rights. They emphasized that the legal action was not a personal vendetta but an effort to set a standard that discourages unruly behavior and promotes accountability, especially among younger talents in the industry
