Lege Miami, an actor and self-proclaimed relationship expert, has sparked controversy with a recent online statement.
In a widely circulated video, he claimed that any married woman or housewife who puts a password on her phone is effectively a “prostitute.”
According to him, while it’s acceptable for men to secure their phones and even engage in infidelity, women should not be granted the same liberty.
He further argued that women who behave in such a manner are unfit for marriage and should leave their husbands’ homes.
His comments have drawn heavy backlash across social media, with many—especially women—slamming his views as misogynistic and outdated.
He said; “Any housewife who puts a password on her phone or uses a password to hide certain information on her phone, is a prostitute; you are a prostitute.
If a married woman can put a password on her phone, she is a prostitute. Quote me anywhere. Or do you want to say that because your husband is putting a password on his phone, you want to do the same thing? You are not ready for marriage, and you can pack your load and leave the house.
As a relationship expert, I will say that to you pack your load and leave the house. Your husband can cheat, but as a woman, you don’t have the right to cheat. That’s how to be a good and responsible wife.”
