Following Tanzanian musician Juma Jux’s win at the recently concluded Headies Awards, held Sunday night at the Landmark Event Centre, social media has been buzzing with reactions.
Juma Jux, who clinched the award for Best East African Artiste of the Year, attended the ceremony alongside his wife, Priscilla Ojo — the daughter of popular actress Iyabo Ojo.
In his acceptance speech, Juma Jux expressed gratitude to God, his wife, his management team, his family, his JP lovers, and the award organizers for believing in East African music.
His win has raised eyebrows on social media as many noted how his marriage to Priscilla, gave him an edge over others.
