Controversial Nigerian street singer Habeeb Okikiola, professionally known as Portable, has sent a message to his senior colleagues, Davido and Zlatan, for looking down on him.
Hitgist reported during the week that after being treated to a dinner and gifted a luxury shoe, Portable had blasted Davido, claiming he gave him bad advice during their linkup.
He noted how the music star is signed to Sony Music, yet told him not to sign to the label but should rather sign to Empire and collect advance. He stated that the same Grammy Davido is chasing, he is also chasing it.
He had also accused Zlatan Ibile of attempting to create tension between him and Davido, as he claimed that while together in Atlanta, Zlatan called Davido and warned him to “behave himself” around Portable. Expressing disappointment in him, he warned Zlatan to stay out of his business.
In an Instagram live last night, he revealed that Zlatan tried to stop his former manager, Kogbagidi, from helping him and did the same with Davido. He noted how he had never done Zlatan wrong, yet he was chasing away his helpers.
Now, taking to his Instagram page, Portable sent a message to those looking down on him. He stated that as they are looking down on him, he is looking up to God.
As you dey look down on me, I dey look up to God”.
His statement didn’t sit right with many as they slammed him via his comment section.
