As a video of popular gospel singer Yinka Alaseyori incorporating the popular song “Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo” into her worship session at a Lagos church went viral, the singer has come under fire.
The performance of Yinka Alaseyori during a service last Friday was captured on camera, and it has since generated a lot of controversy and criticism online.
Many people expressed their dislike of Yinka Alaseyori’s use of the song “Gwo Gwo Gwo” in her church performance on social media.
Among those criticizing the performance, popular writer Solomon Buchi spoke out, also denouncing the practice as a significant deviation from traditional gospel worship.
