A video of late Nigerian music icon Onyeka Onwenu during his last interview crying so hard publicly as she fights for peace in Nigeria has surfaced online and it sparked several reactions.
Recall in a previous post, Intel Region disclosed that singer and actress Onyeka Onwenu slumped and died at the age of 72.
Onyeka Onwenu reportedly passed away on Tuesday evening at Reddington Hospital in Lagos after collapsing during her performance at Mrs. Stella Okoli’s birthday party.
The heartbreaking video that shows Onyeka Onwenu’s last performance at the birthday party before she passed away also stirred emotional reactions online.
The new clip that just surfaced online shows one of the late Onyeka Onwenu’s last interviews where she was seen passing a message to Nigerian politicians regarding the hardship in the country.
The veteran singer in the clip was seen shedding tears as she fought for peace in Nigeria during the interview. In the message, Onyeka Onwenu begs the leaders to help Nigerians affected by the hardship in the country as she disclosed that this will go a long way in making peace reign in Nigeria.
In her words; “If you are a leader wherever you are, I cry on behalf of every Nigerian affected in this country. Let’s find a way, let’s make peace before it’s too late.”
