Media personality Daniel Regha has criticized singer, Chike for gifting N1M to a troll who mocked him, asserting that he gained fame through his late colleague, Mohbad.
Recall that the Afropop singer had sang a song, ‘Egwu‘ with the late singer before he passed away, which instantly became a hit, topping charts across different streaming platforms.
The troll attributed Chike’s success to this song and the singer surprisingly sent N1 million to him.
In reaction, Daniel Regha called his act a misplaced priority and complete lack of self-control.
He noted that Chike gifted a troll a huge amount but has never his fans who have been promoting his craft for years.
His words: “Chike gifted a troll N1m but failed to acknowledge fans who have been promoting his craft & projects for God knows how long; What he did isn’t a flex or a show of wealth, that’s a misplaced priority & a complete lack of self-control.”
