Fans of Nigerian music sensation Ahmed Ololade Asake have been expressing their contempt over the price of singer’s branded shirts and caps.
Asake, known for his energetic stage performance, has commenced his world tour for his third studio album ‘Lungu Boy Recall that the ‘Lonely at the top’ released the album and it featured American rapper Travis Scott, Wizkid, Stormzy and many more.
However, the singer’s news official Instagram page revealed the merch, including customized T-shirts and caps, being sold on Empire Music, a label where Asake is signed into.
It appeared that fans eagerly took to the official site to purchase Asake’s customized shirts and caps but were set aback over the prices tagged on the items.
Some photos shared on the microblogging platform, X, showed that the branded T-shirt is sold for N241, 400 while the cap goes for N128,800.
The prices of the merchandise got many talking online as netizens flooded comment section to share their thoughts. Some reactions are shown below:
