The Nollywood industry is brimming with joy as popular Yoruba actress Debbie Shokoya and her husband, Mr. Adetola, welcome their first child.
The good news was shared online by her colleagues Nkechi Blessing and Seilat, who took to their Instagram pages to share beautiful maternity photoshoot of the movie star.
Debbie Shokoya, renowned actress, gained fame for her role as Fatty Abebelube in the popular Yoruba movie Aye Loja. She entered Nollywood in 2012, making a significant impact with her key role in the movie Creative Man, produced by John Olakunle Da’silva.
She has appeared in several movies and TV series, including Tales of Eve and So Wrong So Wright, delivering her best to the industry standard.
In 2023, the on-air personality tragically lost her first pregnancy at 8 months. She later shared the challenges she faced during this difficult time, which inspired her to launch her own YouTube series, Exciting Moment with Debbie,where people share their personal stories of overcoming adversity.
