Sophia Momodu, first baby mama of Nigerian singer Davido, has received some backlashes following her harsh response to a follower’s unsolicited parenting advice about Imade’s trip to Disney land.
Sophia Momodu took to her social media page, revealing that she took her 9-year-old daughter to a self-sponsored trip to the Disney land. While reflecting on the millions of Naira worth holiday, she made it known that she fulfilled a promise that was intentionally broken to a child.
The Nigerian businesswoman implied that Davido broke his promise to take Imade on a trip to Disneyland. Bragging, Sophia indirectly stated that nobody can break a promise to her child.
She wrote, “1 yr ago today, I fulfilled a promise that was intentionally broken to a child cos not Sophia’s daughter chile”.
However, her follower revealed that if Sophia doesn’t care for Imade, no one else would do the same, and if someone else does the things she is doing for Imade, her daughter would her treated badly. She admonished Sophia to love intentionally, be calm and accept her presence. The follower added that anyone telling her otherwise doesn’t like her.
“If you don’t do it, no one else would. And if she ever gets it from elsewhere, she would be treated so badly for it. So you should be a mother, Love intentionally, be calm, and accept the present. Those telling you otherwise don’t like you”.
In her response, Sophia emphasized that she is the sole caregiver for Imade and will continue to proudly showcase her daughter. She questioned how her life choices affected the follower, pointing out that unless they crossed paths at the private jet terminal, the follower had no right to offer unsolicited advice.
She replied, “You right, it’s all ME. And as I continue to impress myself as a parent imma talk my shit, how it affects your reality is none of my business. Also, I didn’t run into you at the private jet terminal today maybe if we ever do you can try to offer your unsolicited advice and see until then. You already know what to do so with that water shawty. Drink up”.
Her post triggered massive reactions as social media users berated her over her response to the follower. Many revealed that Sophia Momodu was just being bitter because Davido did not marry her.
