“I’m so sorry, it’s hunger” – Viral man who steals bread at a market tenders public apology to Nigerians in new video (Watch)

A Nigerian man who went viral on TikTok for stealing bread at a market has apologized to his friends, family, and Nigerians at large.

A few days ago, the Nigerian man went viral after a video surfaced online showing him stealing a loaf of bread worth N1000 at a market. He was later caught by a man who recorded the incident.

The man who recorded the incident tried to beat the guy for stealing the N1000 loaf of bread at the market before eventually letting him go.

In a recent video, the man who stole the N1000 bread had an interview with media personality D’Caretaker, where he explained that the theft was unintentional.

He explained that he stole the bread out of extreme hunger and expressed regret for his actions.

According to the interviewer known as D’Caretaker, he knows the guy who stole N1000 bread in an area called Bashorun in Ibadan, Oyo State stressing that he used to be a good footballer who used to mind his business.

He labelled him as Rashidi, noting that he is a good footballer popularly known before things falls apart for him.

The man who stole the bread confirmed that after his football career didn’t work out, he began working as a bricklayer. He also revealed that he used to be married with children, but his wife left him because he couldn’t provide for her adequately.

The interviewer has hereby called on Nigerians to donate money for the man.
