Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has shared his opinions on this 2024 Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season, which has been generating less buzz online.
Portable, known for outspoken nature, revealed in a video that this season reality show ‘BBNaija S9’ has become so boring and people are no more watching the show.
According to the Zazuu crooner, he has more viewers than them and can engage people with his entertaining lifestyle. The singer made it known that the newest housemates in the house are so boring and can not create good contents.
Portable believes that for BBNaija to regain its popularity, the organizers need to pay him the grand prize N100 million and grant him access into Biggie’s house.
The Big Brother Naija show, which had been most-watched reality show over the years, lost his full rantings online after many many people stopped watching. Many blamed it on the repetitive format from the show and the housemates are not living up to the entertainment levels of past seasons.
Also, with economic challenges and other pressing issues in Nigeria, viewers become less invested in the reality show and more focused on day-to-day survival.
It is worth noting that the organizers brought in a new twist in this year’s BBNaija as they introduced ‘Dynamic Duo’ housemates. The BBNaija ‘No loose Guard’ season 9 which kickstarted on July 28th, announced a cash prize of N100 million for the ultimate winner, along with other rewards.
It appeared that the housemates are not living up to the standards of the reality show as Ebuka, BBNaija’s host labelled them boring.
However, Portable’s advice to the BBNaija housemates triggered massive reactions as social media users shared their thoughts via comment section. Some reactions are shown below:
