Popular rapper Speed Darlington raised brows recently, due to his inquisition about Burnaboy’s relationship with American rapper and businessman P.Diddy.
While holding an award that had an uncanny resemblance to a Grammy on one hand, and a bottle of baby oil on the other, Speed Darlington spun the deepest controversy to exist in the Nigerian space.
Speed Darlington said that he had taken a photo with P.Diddy some years back, and after that other Nigerian artists started flying out to meet P.Diddy and take pictures with him.
He name dropped Falz and Burnaboy as part of the artists that took photos with P.Diddy, but his main focus was on the latter.
Speed Darlington said that shortly after Burnaboy took photos with P.Diddy, he won a Grammy award.
Going forward, Speed Darlington quizzed Burnaboy, urging him to explain how come he became more famous after meeting with P.Diddy.
As he was asking the questions bordering his mind, Speed Darlington kept squeezing the baby oil in his hands, before he proceeded to ask how many bottles of the oil was used on Burnaboy by P.Diddy.
The timing of Speed Darlington’s question to Burnaboy is quite slippery, as the authorities recently recovered over one thousand bottles of baby oil in P.Diddy’d house, following numerous sexual assault allegations against him.
A few months back, P.Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie had filed a suit against him, citing physical abuse and a slew of other allegations.
They ended up settling out of court, but that was just the beginning of P.Diddy’s legal troubles came out, and he’s currently locked up, while awaiting trial.
Beyond his legal battles, Diddy has been accused of having amorous relationships with men, and the fact that Speed Darlington held a bottle of baby oil in his video while questioning Burnaboy about his relationship with Diddy might as well be a direct jab.
