Nollywood actor, Lateef Adedimeji known for his impressive acting range and dynamic roles, has once again captured the spotlight with the premiere of his first Netflix movie, ‘Lisabi’.
The star-studded event took place in Circle Mall, Lekki Lagos and it attracted numerous A-list celebrities who turned up in style to support the movie star and enjoyed the much-anticipated film.
Celebrities such as Toyin Abraham, Odunlade Adekola Juliana Olayode, Ibrahim Chatta, Mo Bimpe (Lateef’s wife), Muyiwa Ademola, Cute Abiola, Ijebu, Mr Macaroni, Aunty Ajara, Saga Adeolu, Liquorose and others donned their traditional attires that lit up the red carpet.
Lateef Adedimeji himself set the tone for the evening with a stylish ensemble that was a blend of modern sophistication and cultural pride. His outfit, which reflected the theme of the movie, stood out as one of the night’s highlights. He was seen in an Agbada, rocking it with royal beads around his neck and hands.
Actresses like Toyin Abraham and Juliana Olayode did not disappoint either. Toyin Abraham, known for her sense of style, appeared in a stunning gown that turned heads. Juliana Olayode wowed many with her elegant traditional attire, as always showcasing her impeccable fashion taste.
Lateef Adedimeji’s wife Mo Bimpe also dazzled in gorgeous outfit that complement her husband’s look. The celebrity couple made a grand entrance into the movie premiere as people welcomed them with dances and drums.
Videos capturing the event showed that every people present at the premiere had a great time as celebrities were seen dancing, laughing and talking amongst themselves.
Lateef Adedimeji’s Lisabi is a historical epic that tells the story of a Yoruba warrior named Lisabi Agbongbo Akala, who led a revolt against the Oloja, a tyrannical ruler in the ancient Egba kingdom.
The movie blends history, drama, and action, showcasing Lateef’s versatility as both an actor and a producer. Known for his ability to embody characters with depth and passion, Lateef’s portrayal of the lead character is already being lauded as one of his best performances yet.
Lisabi is set to take its place among the top historical films in the Nigerian film industry and it will be aired on September 27th.
