A Twitter influencer sparked curiosity on social media by revealing why billionaire Tony Elumelu chose to call on Davido, rather than his longtime brand ambassador Wizkid, for recent UBA events.
The disclosure by the Twitter influencer identified as Otunba (@ManLikeIcey) on popular microblogging platform X formerly called Twitter comes after Wizkid berated Davido’s singing skills.
Recall that in previous posts, Intel Region disclosed that Davido makes Tony Elumelu and others excited as he delivers an amazing performance at the UBA cocktail event in USA
Also, billionaire Tony Elumelu flew Davido from USA to Spain to perform at the 50th birthday of Dupe Olusola, the MD of of Transcorp Group.
Note that in addition to being the Chairman of UBA, Tony Elumelu owns Transcorp Group, a major conglomerate with investments in hospitality, power, and oil & gas. He is also the founder of Heirs Holdings, an investment company.
Speaking on why Tony Elumelu dropped Wizkid for Davido, Twitter influencer Otunda stressed that Wizkid is a drug addict and useless,claiming that the “Essence” crooner is not in a good state with Elumelu.
He tweeted; “Lmaooo if them born ur papa well reply me @wizkidayo I dey wait you surulere drug addict 😂 You’re so useless that Tony Elumelu flew Davido to Paris for a UBA gig and you’re their supposed ambassador. Ayo Balogun, I put it to you. You’re a mad man 🙏🏿.”
