Controversial music star Speed Darlington has finally addressed his recent arrest and detention for allegedly defaming Burna Boy. In an Instagram live session, he shared his perspective on the situation while throwing shade at the Grammy-winning artist.
Speed Darlington stated that Burna Boy’s attempts to silence him through legal action have only increased his confidence.
He believes that these efforts reflect the singer’s insecurities and indicate his own success in the industry.
Affectionately known as Akpi, Speed Darlington expressed that he considers himself more successful than Burna Boy. He remarked on the substantial amount of money Burna Boy invests in bloggers to promote his music, contrasting it with his own approach.
Speed Darlington highlighted that despite not spending on such promotions, he continues to thrive and maintain a high profile, trending consistently in the music scene.
In his words; “Burnaboy felt like i Dey spoil something for him, and he pays big money to blogs to push him, I’m way bigger than him.”
