“My hero” – Davido hails father as he builds a new power plant in Nigeria

Music star Davido has applauded his father, Adedeji Adeleke as he set to build a new power plant in Nigeria.

Hitgist reported that the billionaire businessman while speaking at the Seventh Day Adventist General Conference Annual Council, revealed that he generates about 15% of the electricity needed for Nigeria.

He further revealed that he is building his new power plant, which will be the biggest in Nigeria. He stated that he is closely working with some Chinese Engineering companies and the power plant would be completed in January.

Taking to his Instagram page, Davido expressed pride in his father as he called him ‘His Hero’.

He wrote, “My hero, my father Dr.Adedeji Adeleke speaks on The Sabbath at a SDA General Conference Annual Council 2024 – October 15th”.

Davido isn’t the only one proud of Adedeji Adeleke. His elder brother, Ayoola hailed their father, stating that he is forever a proud son of him as he noted how he has been working with his father since he was a graduate more than 23 years ago and has witnessed his amazing accomplishments in business and life. In October last year, Davido had recounted how his father once used his power to hinder his progress in the music industry because he wanted him to graduate first before pursuing his career ambition.

His cousin, B-Red had also narrated how he sold 20TVs from the singer’s father’s house to raise money. He narrated how Don Jazzy had offered to help them with a condition, which led them to sell out Davido’s father’s Televisions in a desperate attempt to raise money.
