Popular Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan popularly known as VDM has taken to social media to cry out after he receives an unexpected huge amount of money in his NGO account.
In a video making the rounds online, VDM calls on Nigerians to come to his aid as he made it known to all and sundry that the sum of N100M was sent to his NGO account around 7 PM on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024.
Recall that on Sunday, October 13th, 2024, VDM utters that he has made the sum of N21M in his NGO account barely 24 hours after he opened it.
Recall that VDM opens the NGO account mainly to support the lives of children in public primary who do not have access to quality teachers noting that education foundation of children determines their future. VDM also noted that with that he would provide job for graduates as they will be the one to teach these children instead of a rise in the number of graduates who are into POS work and selling of bedsheets.
However, in the video, VDM while speaking on Instagram said that he received the sum of N100M in his NGO account and he decided to be transparent about it because the money is a huge amount of money.
He urged Nigerians to come to his aid while saying that he was not into fraud. He also calls on Zenith Bank to do proper investigation regarding the N100M that enters his account which makes the total money in his NGO account to be N170M.
Sharing the video, VDM accompanied it with the caption; “@zenithbankplc please investigate my NGO account,I don’t know what is going on,hope im not being set up….I AM NOT INTO MONEY L^UNDERING I DO NOT DO FR^UD(FOR THE RECORD) Nigerians bare me witness I don’t know what’s up with the account.”
