Grammy Award winner Burna Boy, born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, recently shared his views on giving back to fans, explaining why he chooses not to, despite having the resources.

In a candid post on the Insta-stories section of his verified Instagram account, Burna Boy admitted that while he doesn’t need most of his possessions and could easily give away large sums of money, his negative feelings toward social media users prevent him from doing so.

Referring to his overall dislike for people on social media, Burna Boy bluntly stated;

“I don’t even need most of the shit I got. I could really give out millions of dollars right now. But I don’t like y’all.”

Burna Boy’s blunt message has ignited discussions online, with some fans expressing disappointment, while others sympathize with his perspective, acknowledging the often critical and toxic environment of social media.
