Despite his series of controversies, controversial singer Portable continues to soar high both in Nigeria and overseas. The singer has been recognized by the government of Canada.
Taking to his Instagram page, Portable expressed joy that he is finally in Canada. He appreciated the Canadian government and the city of Brampton for the Corporation of the City of Brampton award.
“Finally, Portable Omolalomi ZAZUU in Canada, I just want to say thank you to the Canadian government and the city of Brampton for the Corporation of the City of Brampton award.

Many flooded his comment section singing his praises.
Hitgist reported in September that Portable had secured a 10-year working permit in Canada. Showing it off, he revealed that he can now perform his shows in the country as he expressed excitement at traveling to and from the country for his performances over the next decade.
In another post, he credited his Maker for making it possible, as he stated that whoever has God has everything.
His visa permit is coming two years after he was removed from performing at an event in Canada. The singer’s online behavior most especially his unjustifiable sacking of his manager and members of his team had made an event consultant to yank him off the list of performances in a Canadian event.
The event consultant explained that he removed the singer from his show because he couldn’t condone his erratic behaviours and had written to Canada immigration to deny his visa.
Since his entrance into the industry, there is no doubt that the singer carries a unique grace despite his series of controversies. Last year, he received an award from the United States as the best new act of the year. Appreciating the organisers of the award, he stated that receiving such recognition is proof that he is doing something right.
