Popular Nigerian politician Shina Peller has started receiving dragging online following a recent video of him berating the Nigeria Health care system while in the UK.
In the video shared via his verified Instagram page, Shina Peller narrates how the UK emergency team responds to a collapsed man within 5 minutes stressing that it would have been the contrary if the same thing happened in Nigeria.
Speaking further, Shina Peller, a former member of the House of Representative who hails from Iseyin, Oyo-State throws shade at the Nigerian government for neglecting the health sector among others noting that, it is a major reason why Nigerians keep moving away from the country to UK, USA, Canada among others foreign countries.
Shina Peller, the owner of Club Quilox while sharing the development wrote; “SYSTEM FAILURE VS SYSTEM SUCCESS
I witnessed an eye-opening incident in Guildford, UK. A man collapsed on the high street, and within 5 minutes, the emergency response was swift and seamless.
2 ambulances, 5 police cars from different departments including traffic police, and the well-coordinated team worked together to:
Rescue the patient
Divert traffic for smooth flow
Secure the area
Restore normalcy in 10 minutes
As a Nigerian, this is a stark contrast to what we’re used to. It’s heartbreaking to see citizens fleeing our beloved country for greener pastures due to system failures.
To the UK Government, thank you for showing us what effective governance looks like.
To my fellow Nigerians and leaders, let this be a wake-up call. A functional system is not rocket science. It requires:
Strategic planning
Adequate funding
Effective implementation
Let’s work together to build a Nigeria where:
Emergency services respond promptly
Infrastructure supports growth
Citizens thrive, not just survive
To my fellow citizens, don’t lose hope. We can make Nigeria great. Let’s demand more from our leaders and work towards a better future.
And to INEC and the judiciary, always come correct.
I hope this post inspires meaningful conversations and sparks positive change in Nigeria.”

realtoyosi: When you were in the HoR, what did you do in terms of contributing to the development of your constituency, specifically the health sector?
mec_don206: Are you not one of them?
isaacfayoseoriginal_: You are always making sense …. May your good dreams comes true.
ronke_cresley: It starts with you, what did you do during the time when you had the chance?
mz_aduke: When you were house of assembly please what impact did you make in the healthcare system or Emergency Service system? Well it all start from you but here you are preaching lol.
kingkaz_official: The likes of you only do this when they are sent out of political office or aspire to hold one. Nobody would see you do this when you all hold an office. Many of us know this, that you are showing us, We are only expecting you politicians to do the needful when you are there.
olawale__whales: Well, after reading through the comments here it’s clear many Nigerians just like to criticise without having a basic or first hand knowledge of subject matter. Firstly many vote for their representatives without even know what role and scope of engagement these people are having in order to discharge their duties. The three arms of government: the executive, the legislative and the judiciary all have distinct roles to play. So if one does what is meant to do, and the other didn’t push it further then it fails. The success of a functional government lies in the collective responsibility of these arms of government. The Legislature makes laws. The Executive puts those laws into effect and plans policy. The Judiciary administers justice by interpreting the law when its meaning is in dispute, ensuring the law is upheld. We should better channel this energy more to the executive who are meant to implement policy for improvement of people’s standard of living. Honourable Shina is one of the few leaders who are true and genuinely identifies with the people, it’s why he can come out boldly to make this kind of clip. A true sayer is the enemy of the land. We can’t keep supporting the wrong people to get into power and the make it more difficult for the good ones to get into the power. Let’s embrace the truth and unite to fight the bed eggs. We all deserve a better Nigeria. It’s achievable!
