Award-winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid, has made history with his new song Dance, which debuted at number one on Apple Music just eight hours after its release.
Dance, a track from Wizkid’s highly anticipated Morayo album, dropped at midnight on November 15, 2024, and has quickly become a fan favorite with its high replay value.
This isn’t the first release from the Morayo album; Wizkid previously unveiled another track titled Piece of My Heart featuring American singer and songwriter Brent Faiyaz.
Note that before the song Dance was released by Wizkid, fans of the Grammy Award winner have started hopping on it with many of them creating several dancing steps on TikTok.
Wizkid’s new single Dance has claimed the number 1 spot on Apple Music, followed by Fikan We Kan by BNXN and Rema at number 2. Wizkid’s previous release, Piece of My Heartfeaturing Brent Faiyaz, holds the number 3 spot. MMS by Asake and Wizkid takes fourth place, while Awuke by Davido and YG Marley rounds out the top 5.
