Olajumoke Orisaguna, widely known as Olajumoke Onibread, has opened up about her harrowing past, sharing a painful story of domestic abuse that casts a shadow over her meteoric rise to fame.

The Nigerian model gained nationwide attention in 2016 after accidentally walking into a photoshoot with British rapper Tinie Tempah, an iconic moment captured by photographer TY Bello.

However, in a candid interview with City FM, she revealed the dark side of her journey, detailing the toxic relationship she endured with her ex-husband, Sunday Orisaguna, and explaining her sudden retreat from the public eye.

Olajumoke revealed that she lived in Ire, Osun State, a place she described as a battleground for her survival.

She recounted her home as a hostile and suffocating environment, where her mother-in-law subjected her to relentless emotional torment. Worst of all, she endured physical abuse at the hands of her ex-husband, Sunday.

With raw vulnerability, Olajumoke recounted nights filled with anguish and days overshadowed by fear, trapped in a place devoid of comfort or escape.

Determined to break free, she made the bold decision to move to Lagos, hoping to start anew. There, she took to hawking bread as her means of survival, a humble effort that would ultimately change her life when fate intervened.

However, even as her luck turned, Olajumoke revealed that the shadows of her past lingered. Sunday relocated to Lagos, and according to her, the cycle of abuse persisted despite her efforts to rebuild.

Olajumoke admitted that shame and societal pressure prevented her from openly denouncing her marriage, while the presence of their two children kept her tethered to a bond she was desperate to escape.

Following their bitter separation, she alleged that Sunday launched a campaign to ruin everything she had worked for, tarnishing her reputation and that of her supporters. She revealed that her once-promising career, a symbol of hope and transformation, began to falter under the strain of scandal and misrepresentation.
