Popular Nigerian music executive Paul O has taken to social media to address those criticising singer Davido over his recent comment on the Nigeria economy.

Afrobeats star Davido has urged Black Americans to reconsider relocating to Nigeria, highlighting the country’s current economic challenges.

This advice comes amidst speculations that some Black Americans are contemplating leaving the United States after Donald Trump’s recent electoral victory, driven by concerns over potentially unfavorable policies.

Speaking on The Big Homies House podcast, the internationally renowned artist addressed Nigeria’s struggles, stating, “It is not cool back home. The economy is in shambles.”

The above video did not go down well with many Nigerians such as Reno Omokri, actor Patrick Doyle, TVC presenter Akashat Ny’mat as they knocked Davido for saying Nigeria economy is in shambles.

Responding via the insta-stories section of his official Instagram page, music mogul Paul O who is in a relationship with Iyabo Ojo tackles Nigerians for dragging Davido as he says that the singer says absolutely nothing but the truth.

Drumming support for Davido, Paul O said that global companies are leaving Nigeria and also local businesses are facing huge losses due to the country’s economy situation.

He wrote; “Please Make Una leave Davido alone mad people Davido spoke the truth. Nigeria’s current economic state is So00 bad. With global companies leaving and local businesses facing significant losses, it’s clear we’re facing challenges. Let’s acknowledge the reality and work towards a better future. God bless Nigeria = Paulo.”

ANArealltiago: You don’t openly discredit your country, and expect the country to grow, he’s a global figure should always watch what he says, you can’t see other public figures discrediting there countries, Oga Paulo you’re matured enough you should know better.

mobnaturals: If Davido had said good things and sing praises of the country, the people bashing him left and right will still be the same set of people to criticize him and say it’s because he is privileged.

berryumez: Una really deserve this Government that’s why y’all keep living in Denial, Una no one tell una self the truth, It keeps getting worse and you want to keep acting like everything is okay! Person talk true una dey drag am! Keep it up o!!😒.

csm01global: Seems most of you don’t understand what they call reputation and influencing 😂😂😂😂😂😂 the country that most people are fighting for, locally and globally, bcus they believe that, we’ll get it right one day… You all condemning the country, bcus you h#te your president, I hope you know that your president will leave one day, and your country name will remain the same. It’s bad to condemn your country globally. Even all those our footballers won’t like it, bcus that’s the flag they rep, and fighting for with all they strength. That statement is beyond political. It’s a statement that’ll speak for each of you, in any country that you travel to all over the world. You all should stop the sentiment and biased.
