Today, Nollywood actress Funke Akindele revealed her latest endeavor, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her career. The multihyphenate artist, who has established herself in the entertainment industry and dabbled in politics, is now aiming for a new endeavor: real estate.
In a new post made today on her social media platforms, Funke Akindele announced “Jenifa Gardens”, a new residential estate that is now available for people to begin buying land in.
As you can imagine, the announcement was met with a lot of excitement and fan fare, but amidst all of the celebration, there were those who were shocked when they saw the prices of the lands in Jenifa Gardens. Here’s what Funke Akindele had to say, the prices, and what people are saying.
Taking to her social media to make her announcement, Funke Akindele said about her new venture:

Further down on Funke Akindele’s post, the actress wrote how much the prices of lands in Jenifa’s Garden will be going for. She wrote:

– 37M naira for 300 sqm

Invest with a 4M naira deposit by January 10, 2025.
PRELUNCH PRICES:
– 45M for 450 sqm
– 30M for 300 sqm
Payment plans available.
And in response to this, the reactions were mixed. While a number of people congratulated Funke, there were some who thought the prices of the lands to be high. One person wrote saying “Omo! These prices. Na person next generation go fit buy” while another person said “Happy for you mama even if the price is out of my range.”
