Nollywood Actress Funke Akindele has shared a video appealing to her fans and followers to please avoid Piracy at the Cinema of her movie.

In the video she begs everyone going to the cinema to please speak out if anyone wants to video or camera with their phone while at the Cinema.

She also revealed that her fans should please think of the cost of producing the movie and also think of all the payments she made to the crew members so that she won’t go into debt.

Netizens took it personally as they started calling out the names of their colleagues who are fond of doing that whenever he/she went to the cinema.

So I feel the strong security measures should be on the cinema people.. have agreement with them if you see any platform with te film you will sue… by this, it will help them caution their workers

Banky wrote: Those posting it on telegram, do they film it at the cinemas too? I don’t think so. Those ones are to be seriously dealt with honestly.
