Veteran Nollywood actor Yemi Solade has revealed that his long-lasting marriage could have been jeopardized if not for his determination to uphold his principles while working with his female colleagues in the film industry.
In an interview shared on Seun Oloketuyi’s official YouTube channel, Yemi Solade revealed that if he had engaged in relationships with certain actresses in the movie industry, his wife would not have stayed with him for their 22 years of marriage.
In his statement, he said, “When some people accused me of asking for sex before giving out a movie role, I see it as a false allegation because I’m not a producer.
My wife knows the kind of person I am because I always inform her whenever some people bring up allegations against me, and my wife has always been a good, peaceful woman to me.
If I sleep with actresses for movie roles, my wife won’t be with me for 22 years.”
