Fuji maestro Adewale Ayuba’s recent condolence visit to his longtime colleague, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall (KWAM 1), sparked intense online discussions.

Ayuba, accompanied by his entourage, arrived at K1 De Ultimate’s residence, where a crowd of well-wishers had gathered to pay their respects.

However, as a video of his arrival surfaced online and quickly went viral, it was the unexpected events that followed that truly captured public attention.

Adewale Ayuba approached K1 De Ultimate with a deep bow, a respectful greeting that set the tone for what should have been a moment of solidarity in the face of grief.

The two exchanged a handshake, a gesture of mutual respect. But when K1 De Ultimate reached out to offer a side hug, a seemingly simple act of comfort, Ayuba’s reaction did not go unnoticed by observers.

This seemingly small move sparked a flurry of reactions online, with many claiming that Ayuba dodged K1’s gesture.

K1 announced the passing of his 105-year-old mother last Saturday, calling her a matriarch in a heartfelt Instagram post.

Honoring Islamic tradition, she was laid to rest the same day in a well-attended ceremony.

Since then, celebrities like Femi Adebayo, Mercy Aigbe, Kazim Adeoti, Faithia Balogun, and Dayo Amusa have visited K1 to express their condolences.

Prominent figures, including President Bola Tinubu, actor Adebayo Salami, and Fuji legend Obesere, have also sent their sympathies.
