Big Brother Naija (BBN) reality TV star, DeeOne has stood in defense of the members of the lord’s chosen charismatic revival movement, founded by pastor Mouka Lazarus.
The controversy surrounding The Lord’s Chosen has been brewing for some time. Members of this Christian group have often been the subject of memes and jokes on social media as their mantra ‘I am a Chosen’ took over the social media space. Videos circulating online showed moment the members shared their testimonies, sparking widespread reactions online.
While some took their testimonies as jokes DeeOne lashed out at the people making fun of the members’ testimony.
Taking it on his timeline, the reality TV star warned the people to stop making fun of the ‘God of Chosen’. He pointed out that all the testimonies from the ‘chosen’ members are very possible.
According to him, people who are making fun of the members are indirectly mocking God. He however, begged them to stop discriminating other people’e religious belief. If not, they should be ready to face the lord’s wrath.
In his words, “I am seeing that you are making jest of the chosen. Be careful, may you not incur the wrath of God on your head. That man is not an ordinary man that you will be joking about. Please desist from this act. Go and ask God for forgiveness. Stop laughing at the God of Chosen. May you not die young, May you not leave this earth untimely.
