American rapper Cardi B has announced that she is expecting her third child.
The 31-year-old hip-hop star shared the news on Instagram on Thursday, just one day after filing for divorce from her husband of six years, Offset, 32.
Sharing her baby bump, Cardi B wrote: “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!
Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!
A representative for Cardi B confirmed that the Grammy-winning rapper is seeking primary custody of their children, son Wave Set, 2, and daughter Kulture Kiari, 6, in the divorce filing, according to American outlet People.

Cardi B and Offset secretly married in 2017 and have since welcomed two children together.
Cardi B initially filed for divorce from Offset in September 2020, but the two reconciled in October of the same year.
In June 2023, Cardi B publicly called out Offset after he accused her of cheating. Offset has also accused Cardi B of infidelity in the past.
