Popular Nigerian rapper Folarin Falana, known as Falz, recently stirred up excitement on social media after appearing on a popular Yoruba game show.
Falz was a special guest on the show, which focuses on teaching Yoruba language and culture, hosted by Yoruba language etymologist Ojalekan Fabilola.
Rapper Falz, a graduate of Law from the University of Reading, United Kingdom was put to test on the Yoruba show to respond to questions in Yoruba and not in English or Pidgin Languages.
Rapper Falz, a Law graduate from the University of Reading, UK, was challenged on the Yoruba show to answer questions strictly in Yoruba, without using English or Pidgin.
While on the show, rapper Falz sends many into fits of laughter with the way he responds to questions as he finds it difficult to speak only in Yoruba.
However while on the show Falz manages to prove many netizens wrong as he was able to read out some written Yoruba Language and his excitement was second to none.
One of the parts that got many people talking was when he was told to differentiate between Amofin (Lawyer) and Agbofinro (Executives e.g Police, enforcement agencies etc.).
He refers to himself as an example of Amofin (Lawyer), while he describes Agbofinro as those who know nothing about the law, then later burst into laughter.
