Popular Nigerian content creator Egungun of Lagos in a new video that surfaced online disclosed that he has been loking forward to interview award-winning singer Wizkid for a while now but all his effort has been futile.
Egungun of Lagos has been wonderful in the Nigerian entertainment space between the year 2023 and 2024 as he has been able to interview and link up with prominent figures like, Burna Boy, Cubana Chief Priest, Davido, Yhemolee, Nkechi Blessing, BNXN (Buju), Bobrisky, Eniola Badmus, DJ Dimple N!pple, Shank Comics and more.
However, some months ago, Egungun of Lagos tries to interview Wizkid at Quilox club in Victorial Island, Lagos but it did not happened as the content creator had to end up interviewing the singer’s luxurious cars.
While Egungun of Lagos has been quite unfortunate when it comes to interviewing Wizkid, a clip recently shows the moment Wizkid engages with K1 De Ultimate children in a question and answer session. It happens when Wizkid when to visit K1 De Ultimate at his mansion in Ijebu Ode to commiserate with the Fuji icon who just lost his mother at the age of 105.
K1 De Ultimate’s children had the chance to ask Wizkid about his favorite artist, car, and more. Wizkid answered with patience and humor, creating a warm atmosphere.
In the video, one of K1 De Ultimate’s daughters asked if he drinks garri. Wizkid responded that he enjoys it with plenty of akara and groundnuts.
While a guy tried to interview Egungun of Lagos on the celebrity he would like to interview, he responded by saying Wizkid as he stressed that he tried the last time but the singer’s security was so tight.
In his words; “Wizkid is one celebrity I would love to interview. I tried to interview him at Quilox recently but his security was too tight,”
