Nollywood actor and self-acclaimed clergyman Yul Edochie has given his two cents on DNA tests.
In an Instagram post, the controversial actor said any woman who refuses to do a DNA test on her child when it is demanded is hiding something. He admonished men not to fall for any excuse such women give them.
The talented actor and producer added that a clear conscience fears nothing.
“Any woman who refuses to do DNA tests on her child when it is demanded is hiding something.
Don’t fall for any excuse she gives to you.
She is hiding something.
A clear conscience fears nothing”.

Yul isn’t the only celebrity clamoring for DNA. Music executive Don Jazzy had sent a memo to Nigerians on the importance of conducting DNA tests. He stated that conducting a DNA test is more important than a naming ceremony.
In May, media personality Do2dtun advocated for DNA tests to be done on children immediately after they were born. He stated that the same way a test is carried out when a child is born, it should be the same with DNA. He noted how people see DNA as scary because it is been seen as a borderline mishap for trust, but for him, it’s best to know in the beginning and now.
