Afrobeats artist Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, widely recognized as Ayra Starr, has disclosed that she continues to reside with her family despite her rising fame and financial success.
In an interview with Coco Jones for the Musicians on Musicians edition of Rolling Stone, she shared insights into her personal life.
Starr emphasized that her celebrity status has not hindered her from maintaining close relationships with friends and family.
“When I go back home [Nigeria], I still live with my family. My brothers are making noise playing video games. I still involve my friends in my life. We have a group chat where I solicit their opinions on what I wear. I thank God for my friends and family. Although, sometimes, it gets overwhelming and I have to disappear,” Starr remarked.
In other news, A medical doctor based in the UK, Olufunmilayo Harvey, expressed his sympathy for TikToker Jadrolita, also known as Jarvis, while offering his professional insights regarding her battle with a mouth tumor.
In a compassionate reply to her video seeking public support for her treatment, the doctor emphasized the necessity of immediate medical intervention, warning that her condition could escalate if not addressed promptly.
“I really hope this video goes viral and this lady gets the help she needs. This tumor in her mouth could be quite serious if nothing is done,” he stated.
Jadrolita’s situation, which is still pending a definitive diagnosis, has garnered attention due to its visible effects on her facial features.
The doctor also condemned online harassment, highlighting the insensitivity often directed towards individuals facing visible health issues.
In a subsequent message, he expressed, “May God make the results of the tests good. And may she find her feet again to do what she loves best. Let’s be human. Let’s be decent. Let’s be kind.”
