Grammy award-winning singer Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid has made a surprise appearance at comedian Buchi’s live comedy show and stole the show with his generosity.
Comedian Buchi, whose real name is Oyebuchi Ojieh, organized a comedy show at a lounge in Lagos on Wednesday, February 5. This show featured several up-and-coming comedians displaying their talents.
Videos capturing the moments at the events took over the social media space, and fans could not stop praising Wizkid for his generosity towards the rising comedians.
During the show, Wizkid asked his team members to gift bundles of cash to the performing comedians. The first comedian to receive the gift was overwhelmed with gratitude and thanked Wizkid, calling his act “the joke of the day.”
Another comedian took the stage, prompting the singer to instruct a team member to shower him with bundles of cash. In the video, the recipient passed the money to one of his friends while making humorous remarks to Wizkid.
The next performer also received bundles of cash and jokingly claimed he could sing as well.
Comedian Buchi also shared a video of Wizkid’s arrival and departure from the comedy lounge, joking that the singer “shook his legs with his generosity.”
