A new video of 2Baba and Faze performing a Plantashun Boiz hit song on stage, notably without Blackface, has sparked reactions online.
Recall that before Plantashun Boiz becomes a defunct name in the Nigerian entertainment industry, it was made up of the artistes namely 2Baba, Face and blackface.
However, after their split years ago, 2Baba and Faze have maintained a friendship, unlike Blackface, who has been embroiled in controversy, frequently accusing other artists of stealing his lyrics.
In the newly surfaced clip, 2Baba and Faze are seen performing the Plantashun Boiz hit song “Don’t You Know,” originally released in 2000. Now December 2024, the classic track marks 24 years since its release, evoking nostalgia among fans.
While on stage, 2Baba calls on Faze, saying they should take the audience back to some old-school vibes. Fans were captivated as the duo delivered a nostalgic performance.
Sharing the video on his blog, Tunde Ednut wrote; “Awwwwwwwwwww!!! They took us back Oooooo! Faze and Tubaba on stage. Awwwwww!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Raise your hands if you remember this jam.
