Grammy Award-winning singer Damini Ogulu Ebunoluwa, popularly known as Burna Boy has broken his silence amid allegations raised against him by Lagos socialite Sophie Egbueje.
Recently, Sophia Egbueje alleged that Burna Boy failed to fulfill a promise to buy her a Lamborghini after an intimate encounter. In a leaked audio recording, Egbueje recounted that influencer Ama Reginald, the girlfriend of Burna Boy’s associate King Manny, encouraged her to pursue a relationship with the singer, assuring her of his generosity.
Egbueje claimed that Burna Boy made several promises, including purchasing a Lamborghini for her, which influenced her decision to engage with him. However, after their encounter, she alleged that Burna Boy became unresponsive and did not honor his commitments
The leaked audio also revealed tensions between Egbueje and Reginald, with Egbueje accusing Reginald of betrayal for socializing with Burna Boy and his rumored new girlfriend, Chloe Bailey, shortly after encouraging her to pursue him.
These revelations have sparked widespread reactions online, with various public figures and media personalities weighing in on the controversy.
Although Burna Boy did not publicly addressed these allegations, a video shared on his Instastory showed that the singer was undisturbed about it.
In the video, the ‘Bundle by Bundle’ crooner showed off the exquisite interior of his multi-million Naira Ferrari. He also shared a video showing a vacant bed in his private jet, sparking reactions among the social media users.
