Controversial social media activist, Martins Otse Vincent, popularly known as Verydarkman, has expressed his dissatisfaction as the South African model, Chidimma Adetshina wins Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 which took place yesterday in Eko hotel.
It would be recalled that Chidimma faced severe backlash following her participation in Miss South Africa 2024 after which she was compelled to withdraw for several reasons.
However, she emerged victorious over 24 other contestants in the Miss Universe Nigeria 2024, stirring mixed reactions.
Verydarkman, known for his outspoken and often controversial views, claimed that Chidinma Adetshina’s victory was not based on her performance or qualifications but rather on pity.
According to the critic, Chidimma does not deserve to have been crowned winner as it diminishes the effort of other contestants who had prepared all year.
In his words, “Because the girl get small problem for South Africa, una invite am come Nigeria make she be Miss Universe. How about the people that have been preparing for this thing for a long time? You people gave her by pity and not be merit; this is not fair”.
