Nigerian entrepreneur and socialite, Chioma Goodhair, has revealed how she played a pivotal role in getting actress Iyabo Ojo to accept her daughter Priscilla’s relationship with Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux.
The elegant wedding between Priscilla and Juma Jux, which recently took Lagos by storm, has been the subject of widespread attention and admiration on social media.
Taking to her Instagram page, Chioma recounted that although she had supported Priscilla and Juma’s relationship from the beginning, Iyabo Ojo initially had her doubts. One major concern, according to Chioma, was the lack of familiarity between their families and Juma’s Tanzanian background.
Chioma disclosed that she once took a nearly two-hour walk from Oxford Circus to Knightsbridge in London, just to have a heart-to-heart conversation with Iyabo and convince her to give the couple her blessing.
“It wasn’t easy convincing Iyabo. I remember walking all the way from Oxford Circus to the end of Knightsbridge (almost 2 hours) tryna convince her.”
Her efforts paid off, as Iyabo eventually gave her support, leading to the grand celebration of love that has since captured the hearts of many.
