Popular Ibadan-based Nigerian comedian, Trinity Guy, has won over the hearts of many online users with his recreation of the classic gospel hit “Halleluyah Lo Mu Mi Goke” from the viral album Odun Nlo Sopin.
Known for his often controversial content, Trinity Guy takes a different approach in this new skit, where he channels a female persona while performing the old gospel song.
In a post shared on his verified Instagram page today, September 10, 2024, the comedian humorously depicted how vintage Christian music videos used to look, nailing the portrayal and sparking overwhelming reactions from social media users.
Creating his content, Trinity Guy hopped on the song “Halelluyah Lo Mu Mi Goke” which is one of the tracks off the evergreen album “Odun Nlo Sopin” by C.A.C. Good Women Choir, Ibadan led by Mrs D.A. Fasoyin.
The hit album “Odun Nlo Sopin” was released in the year 1979 which about 45-years ago and people are vibing to it so hard especially when the year is about to come to an end.
Sharing the video, Trinity Guy accompanied it with the caption; “Olden days Christian music video be like.”
