A corps member, identified as Queen, became emotional as her Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) organized an elaborate send-forth ceremony to celebrate her completion of national service.
Queen, who was posted to a school, shared her experience on social media, expressing gratitude for the recognition.
Her diligent service earned her a heartfelt farewell from the school, leaving her overwhelmed with joy and appreciation.
In a video shared by Queen, school children could be heard singing a heartfelt farewell song as one of them held an umbrella over her head.
The school’s principal also honored her with a warm handshake, praising her dedication and exemplary service during her time at the school.
She accompanied the video with the caption;“I guess I served my country well. I still remembered how much I cried the first day I was posted to this school. Looking back, I’m grateful to God I was posted to Neneveh Comprehensive school. Forever in my heart.”
