A hilarious video is making the rounds on social media that shows the moment Lagos State Governor Sanwo Olu jokingly throws shade at his aide Jubril Gawat following an intense argument he had with popular Nigerian singer Davido on X formerly called Twitter.
Recall that a few weeks ago on the popular microblogging platform, singer Davido and Governor Sanwo Olu’s aide exposed each other following the Edo State 2024 gubernatorial election.
In a post, Davido who drums support for the PDP governorship candidate slammed INEC during the governorship election claiming that the commission is the most dangerous institution in Nigeria.
Davido tweeted; “The most dangerous institution in Nigeria @inecnigeria …”
He added; “Winning is one thing. Being declared a winner is another thing! …. From 7pm make una go Dey mount collation center !! #EdoDecide2024”
The tweet labeling INEC as a dangerous institution didn’t sit well with the Lagos State Governor’s aide. He pointed out that if INEC’s election process is not credible, then the singer’s uncle, who won through the same process, was not credibly elected either.
Jubril Gawat wrote; “This tweet means ONLY one thing ….”
Davido claps back at Jubril Gawat; “U go Dey here Dey tweet nonsense but any time I’m around ur principal nah u go first carry phone with flash like okirika Dey blind person eye.”
However, in a new video while boarding the rail line with his aides, Governor Sanwo-Olu while standing uses the opportunity to catch some cruise with them.
While speaking with them, Governor Sanwo-Olu recalls the viral argument between his aide Jubril Gawat and Davido on X some weeks ago.
Bringing the scenario alive again inside the rail line, Sanwo-Olu tells Jubril Gawat “Davido nwa eh” meaning “Davido is looking for you” and by extension everyone bursted into laughter.
